Do you convert digital photos to CMYK before printing?
- Ask your printer.
But mostly no. Unless your printer specificity needs CMYK.pango - Just stick with no. But ask your printer.pango
- LAB Print = RGB
Offset/Digital Printing House = CMYKSimonFFM - Always. Junior designers here send shit to print with PNG's thpough. I'm old.Hayzilla

I just reserved a Nikon D850 for next weekend’s wedding. Four days for $150
CANT WAIT!!
- RentalHijoDMaite
- Have the d810 and it's impossible to fault. I imagine the d850 is even impossibler.mort_
- Wondering if I should have my telephoto or my fast prime on it full time..HijoDMaite
- i usually have the tele on the lesser camera. But depends if you are restricted by distancefuturefood
- The fault is it weights a TON. I got tennis elbow carrying my D800 around the studio...now I have M43 (Oly/Pana)formed
- serious elbow pain after every big shoot for me. I can't wait to have an all mirrorless system.HijoDMaite

Adobe just keep making the Lightroom system better and better. I saw an update recently that talked about the ability to start sharing presets from LR Classic to CC and the mobile app, and figured it meant I could start organizing them in a new way to share them. Figured it would be a process of syncing certain ones, more organizing, etc.
Nope. They all just sync automatically. It's perfect. I didn't have to do anything. All my photos live on an iMac and are managed in LR Classic. I sync new collections to LR CC for access on a MacBook Pro, my iPhone, and Lightroom web. All the presets are available on any device now, fully organized. Fantastic update.
- I was totally confused by the 2 versions, at first. But I thought it was an either/or situation. I didn't realize you could use both effectively.Gnash
- Yep. It's a godsend, seriously. It came along right at a time I was doing a serious "WTF" on my editing process and having photos available on other devices.mg33
- hmm. so your laptop has CC, and your workhorse is Classic. Do you sync all your photos to the cloud now from Classic?Gnash
- I don't sync everything. My main LR catalog is gigantic, hundreds of gigs. I've been syncing new photo collections organized by monthmg33
- so that I have them for editing anywhere, posting, etc.mg33
- It's really crazy how quickly I've gone (and happily) from a "I need to sit at this computer to do my edits" approach, to being able to do it anywheremg33
- with the results being just as satisfactory as if I used the computer. A lot of that has to do with using a Fuji camera and using their jpg film simulations.mg33
- I'm less burdened by starting with RAW photos and endless editing potential, and with Fuji shots use more simple customized presets of the film sims.mg33
- so once you do the edits you take them off cloud to make room for more? don't the libraries get mixed up in the sync? (i have visions of the iCloud/iphoto mess)Gnash
- Nope, no mix up, no nothing. As soon as you unsync a collection, it's still in LR classic and no longer on the other devices.mg33
- sounds to good to be true! -- do you use adobe's cloud to sync or can you use a diff server?Gnash

Just delivered wedding photos to bride. I feel so damn FREEEE!
A total of 753 images. I learned so much from this wedding, I can't wait to get better and charge more $$!
Tuan if you're reading this THANKS so much for your guidance!
I used Pixieset.com galleries, and so far no complaints.

- not knowing what I'm doing and fucking up then I just try and take charge. people want to be directed and told what to do. they want to see a confident...HijoDMaite

- lol pango. Paid in crystal tumblers, free lodging and drink.garbage
- @hijo I just don't vibe with weddings. Some of my friends have tried to get me to work with them. I know the money is good, but the whole scene is so cornballgarbage
- I'm going to start a divorce photography service, that's where the new money is.garbage

- And all I can say about the cornball comment is “suspension of disbelief” man.HijoDMaite
