Always a sign of cultural progress when you feel the need to tote loaded weapons around on the street...

pSo let me get this straight.
Uncultured = expressing your rights by open carrying a weapon. which is law of the land, and completely legal.
Cultured = Wanting the Gov to take away guns from citizens while cowardly paying, funding same Gov with your tax money to buy sophisticated weapons to kill millions abroad and supporting state sponsored violence for sake of banks, big corporations.
makes perfect sense to me.
- Yes actually. Let the military fight and the citizens can be left to more productive roles.monospaced
- so you are pro war? voted for bush? bama?yurimon
- I'm not pro war, per say. But I don't think citizens should be armed and ready for one.monospaced
- ukit20
Yeah, I happen to think carrying weapons around all the time is culturally backwards whether in America, Iraq or Israel.
yuri, do you pay taxes? Well I guess that makes you just as guilty of droning little children in foreign countries right? Almost everyone pays tax but that doesn't mean we support everything the government does.
- I'm moving out of it. I have assets so its slow. I know some peeps with no assets quit cold turkey.yurimon
- What are you going to do about?yurimon
- And then what? Pay no taxes on your income?ukit2
- Income is a legal term. do you really have income? what is income?yurimon
- You can't get out of taxes. Dumbassmonospaced
- been done, hardest one is property tx.yurimon
- then you don't deserve to live in Americaformed
- < hola back when you figure the shit out. unwash yo head.yurimon
- You are lying of you say you don't pay income tax.monospaced
- so you're goal is to be a tax dodger, yuri? you'll have to avoid using roads, electricity, phones, etc.. thenhereswhatidid
- or you're compromising you're integrity by supporting the governmenthereswhatidid
- So you exercise your right to bear arms but not your duty to pay taxes?iCanHazQBN
- Stop driving on the roads then. Don't ever use 911. And don't ever turn your water on again.iCanHazQBN

Anyway it's mostly those same pro-gun right-wing groups that supported Iraq War, Patriot Act, etc
Don't make them out to be some kind of pacifist
- I think you caught in a propaganda labeling game. You need to come up with more labels n shityurimon
- Labels or not, it's the truthukit2
- how is generalized labeling on complex subject true. so many greys in between. come on manyurimon
- you letting me down hereyurimon
- You don't think the people who voted for Bush are mostly pro gun?ukit2
- Any one who voted for bush or obama is an idiot in my opinion. I see them as the same in their actions.yurimon
- Oh jeez, come on yuri. You're avoiding answering the obvious here.iCanHazQBN

Yo dawg, I needs half yo money so I can run crazy breaking the law, and locking people up for victimless crimes, then I want to fund my army to bomb brown people. Kill millions, oh in your best interests yo.
Hola at me with the moneys or I send some crazy crackers with boots to your house.
- lol...generalizing much? Governments can do bad things, they can also do good.ukit2
- North Korea is a government, so is Sweden...they're all exactly the same!ukit2
- sweden is finished, democratic governments around the world going down the toiletyurimon
- Oh OK, I didn't hear about Sweden being overukit2

We need to disarm people from fried chicken, because we dont know who will die from heart disease. Thats 1 in 400 killer. more then guns, Lets set up a gov screening program that is law to prevent greasy chicken from murdering people. only those healthy enough to use fried chicken will be allowed a ration of the dangerous substance...

Anyone that thinks it is "expressing your rights" by carrying an assault rifle in public is a pathetic moron. I am sorry, but where's the logic?
"Hey, look at me, I can carry a weapon made to kill humans in public! That makes me freeeeee!"
If you cared about gov't, you'd be putting effort into changing whatever you think is wrong. Putting time and money into changing things through diplomacy.
But that would require some thought and discussion. "Fuck that, too much effort, I'll just carrying me sub machine gun around, that'll send the message that us citizens are in charge and our corrupt, abusive govt and all them librals!"
Pathetic. You are a fear mongering moron that puts a target on their head. You put fear into everyone around you, sending a clear message that you have no education, care nothing for the FREEDOMS of others and are about the most selfish person on earth, clearly ready to shoot anyone that you 'think' might not agree with you.
Keep going, come near me, my family or my friends and either the law enforcement or military, that are paid and trained will take you down. If they don't, I will. Smart.
I am with ukit. Anywhere in the world that people walk around with sub machine guns openly, to "express their rights", is in a severely primitive state, or at least on the decline.
I suppose the positive is that, like a swastika tattoo on your forehead, it brings attention to the nut jobs.
- Its within the law so its ok. Thats the logic. Just because you have badge doesnt mean you're not corrupt.yurimon
- +1monospaced
- The point is yurimon is that the law is archaic and stupid and TOTALLY taken out of context.monospaced
- Gov is a servant. not your boss. its to serve within the confines of one document. the constitution.yurimon
- maybe you should move to a country where gov is your boss? but I do agree with actively tryin to change things.yurimon
- If the law stated I could legally hang black people, that doesn't make it right. These open carry morons are NOT militia.monospaced
- The right change will only work if done without ignorance. problem is. you and most people are ignorant, tryin get out of ignorance long process.yurimon
- ignorance is long hard process. american operate under personal assumption of facts they dont always know.yurimon
- So open carry support is a way out of ignorNce. What am I ignorant of?monospaced
- I guess, chronyism, and fascism is the futuristic and hip. cause thats where it is really going. slowly n subtle.yurimon
- Its legal as long as they dont hurt anyone so dont complain. People can do what they want in peace.yurimon
- you dont want a gun, dont carry one. /ENDyurimon
- you dont want fried chicken, dont eat it. let others enjoy its delishes, melt in you mouth juicy goodness and nicely seasoned crunchy skin.yurimon
- crunchy skin.yurimon
- Guns present a physical threat to others. Fried chicken might kill you in 50 years but I could care less about that.ukit2
- thats cold yo. so cold.yurimon
- ukit20
You come up with some strange analogies. I could care less if people want to eat chicken, or shoot heroin for that matter. But once you start carrying guns into restaurants it threatens the safety of people around you. Especially considering how easy it is to get a gun in U.S., there's no guarantee that anyone actually knows how to use these weapons responsibly.
- There is no guarantee some can drive or knows how manage their blood alcohol levels.yurimon
- but they give out license like pancakes and more people die in car accidents. thats much bigger concern..yurimon
- because you have a greater chance of injury and more people getting injured. so logic.yurimon
- do you car if someone does drugs or drinks now? or there are many exceptions to your logic.yurimon
- <er careyurimon
- I can get a car today and go out drinking legally to a bar same day if I wanted. what you think about that!!!yurimon
- mstocks0
@yuriman people have to be of a certain age, take a test, and have insurance on the vehicle they drive.
Any moron can buy a gun, that's a huge difference in your analogy...
- by your logic car accident related deaths or injuries should be lower than gun violence, but its not please help. my head hurts.yurimon
- mstocks0
What I find odd, if buying a gun means you are 72% (close to this) more likely to have a gun related incident in your house; why would you do that to your kids.
If someone said to you, if you buy this car. You will have a 50% more chance of killing one of your kids. Would you still buy the car?
- mstocks0
Motor vehicle traffic deaths
- Number of deaths: 33,687
- Deaths per 100,000 population: 10.9All firearm deaths
- Number of deaths: 31,672
- Deaths per 100,000 population: 10.3http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/…
that's a huge 0.6%, holy shit... You are 100% right @yuriman
Thread Over....

I'm definitely in favor of more people taking public transport and self-driving cars are a good development for the future. Personally I haven't owned a car for about ten years since I live in the city. But the reason so many people die in car accidents has more to do with the fact that so many people drive a car to work everyday.
If we ban cars tomorrow, it will reduce accidents but the economy will grind to a halt. If we ban people carrying guns into restaurants, it would do nothing except piss off a few gun fanatics.
- I like that. Swastika style sustainability. only if restaurants serve vegan meals. cause cow farts you know.yurimon
