With all the shit that's going down, is there a better solution?
Is it racist cops that are the issue? maybe, but there are tons of black cops who are just as brutal as we saw in the Atlanta video.
Is it the Police chiefs? bad hiring? Is it just the nature of people who want to be cops? working out issues they had in highschool?
What country has an exemplary police force? and what does that mean? no violence? no arrests? more community involvement?
Does it hinder on a peaceful, orderly law-abiding society? is America just too unruly?
Can we function as a society without a police force?

- We don't need to answer all these questions to make a massive improvement. The solution is actually pretty simple.nb
- 1. Nationwide rules of misconduct
2. Fire cops who break rules
3. Prosecute officers the same way we do every one else. Equal playing field.nb - If a cop walked into a bank and robbed it, we'd send them to jail. It should be no different for assault, for abuse, for using a weapon.nb
- Some cases will be hard to prosecute, it won't be perfect. But cops are getting away with murder. Cops must be made to fear the consequences of their actions.nb

There are examples going on in Indigenous communities in Canada as well, but I thought that an example from the USA would be more compelling to consider.
Minimize the police budget wherever possible and fund initiatives that can tackle these issues in a more co-operative way.
