A video of how Russia works: autocracy, lies and corruption are in their culture since a thousand years...
This is why Vlad is still popular. If not vlad, the next tsar and on and on. After watching this, having doubts now that the situation will change for them in the future. Other Eastern European countries changed for the better after the Cold War and now live peacefully - but from what we're seeing, Russia will always be Russia it seems. Best to contain and isolate maybe...
- Putin needs to be toppled, and FInland needs to move in to teach Russians how to be contentedly miserable in the snow.Nairn

The protester repeatedly referred to Article 51 of the Russian Constitution during the interrogation, according to which a citizen is not obliged to testify against himself.
When he doesn’t want to reveal what he’s studying or working on (he also refers to the constitution here), he also hears a punch click on the recording.
You will have a little abrasion. Get up, it's time to talk, okay? says a male interrogator, then another blow is heard.
There are male and female interrogators in the room. The man at one point says:
Look at your breasts, they hang like udders and then call him a monkey.
They ask again and again where he is studying, what he is working on and how he knew about the demonstration, and then he says he has already answered that.
- Supplement 51 to the Constitution... I do not have a bra. Don't look, please.
- It's not like there's a lot to watch.
- Oh thank you.
There is another blow to this.
- They just hit.
Another blow.
One interrogator says at one point:
“It’s a shitty. A nobody. What do you think we get for that? Putin told us to beat such people to death. That's it. Putin is on our side! You are the enemies of Russia, the enemies of the people. I'll beat you right away, you're done. We even get a reward for it. ”
When he refers to the constitution again, one male interrogator speaks to the other. Then you will hear:
- My hair, it hurts!
By the time they mock, they begin to imitate: My hair! My hair!
"There's something wrong with your brain," the female interrogator says, and the protester says.
"A man beats me in front of their eyes, and I'm the one with the head?"
- Yes.
When you don’t want a photo taken of him, they cut your phone against the wall.
- That's it, you don't have a phone anymore.
- Will you write a report on this?
- Why would I write, he just fell by accident.
- Accidentally?
- It slipped out of my hand. I have three witnesses.

Over 13'000 people detained in Russia for protesting the war. Police also looking through their phones to find any anti-war sentiment.
- Surely there are family of police, gov, army among the 13k, and this action can start a ripple.shapesalad

Why don't we pay some Russian cunts £25m to snipe Putin. We just deny it and say it was a local Russian nut. They do it to other countries all the time.
- They asked Vin Diesel but he makes about as much in a movie with a lesser risk of getting shot.palimpsest

EU working on further sanctions due to Kremlin's 'recklessness' towards civilians.
According to European Commission president
Von der Leyen, the EU has to "get rid of the dependency on Russian gas, oil and coal" and will present proposals on March 8.That would be huge if EU stopped importing gas/ oil from RU.
- Germany said No to it. Netherlands also kicking up a fuss.shapesalad
- They're considering.grafician

Totally missed this when it happened but when Hillary Clinton was US foreign minister, she presented Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov with a red button. The text label on the button was supposed to say “Reset” as if to say reset US / Russian foreign relations. Translated, the word actually meant “overcharge”. What a complete fuck up, notwithstanding the dodgy symbolism of the US handing a red button to Russia.
- Not the biggest blunder. They had Trump for President after thatgrafician
- Nice one Killary.Chimp
- Wonder if he dared to press it?shapesalad
- Back at his home... probably bugged right?shapesalad

- This is because Russians are so stupid they can't comprehend it was an English word, and therefore that's why this was a fuck up. Oh, wait ...monospaced
- fuck that cuntGuyFawkes
- I mean, does anyone REALLY believe that the whole time they thought it said "overcharge" and it wasn't a mistake? Or that this mistake was serious?monospaced
- Everybody got fucked over, in 2009 they made you believe that things are going to change for the better. While in the background they just started fundingsted

Maybe this was already posted here.
There’s a leaked FSB document by a whistleblower saying the war is a total disaster and failure. Russia can’t win either way and that it has to end by June because Russia won’t have an economy by then to support it any longer.
And that Ukraine could drag it on for years if they wanted to because of their resilience and military aid.
Even the FSB didn’t know about the invasion until almost the very moment.

Wheat futures traded limit up for the 5th consecutive day. Up 7% today.
https://news.yahoo.com/wheat-pri…
Local anecdote from Canada: a 10kg bag of wheat flour up in price 25% from last week (7.98 -> 9.99) and limited 1 per customer at my local grocer. That could be the result of a sale coming off, or could be a reflection of rising wheat prices. Bloomberg has wheat up 50% since mid Feb, 100% since last year.
