Few thoughts after watching:
- The overload of nostalgic elements is sometimes annoying
- Samwise Gamgee is the worst supporting actor
- I will not forgive for fucking up my favorite character Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), for no reason.
- Side-story @ ep7 with the mustached butterfly mage was totally unnecessary
- Found some fun things like cigarettes re-ignite, clothing changes on characters while they are speaking, the number of days does not fitIt still has this awesome mood what makes you watch the show even if you aren't interested in the story. What got a bit smarter and it has some really interesting elements. The focus more on the development of the individual characters, which I really liked.
I hope I did not tell anything about the season :D

I came here 30 minutes into episode 1 to say the same thing: the constant and overt 80's nostalgia is super distracting. I don't remember the first season being this way. Too many scenes appear to exist for the sake of playing a cool 80's hit song. I hope it decreases a bit quickly.

Episode 7 was so cringe. On so many levels. Worst tv writing ever. Characters made me roll my eyes so hard i looked at me own brain.
