This evidence plus the fact that the stone inscriptions at Gobekli Tepe describe a comet impact causing a great flood at the exact same period that scientific evidence does.
You can't count on two hands the number of cultures that have stories of a flood that happened around this period.
Now science is starting to agree.
- We do live in amazing times but hey RUSSIA!! ;-)mugwart
- I don't think there is a more fascinating time to be alive in at least the last two thousand years!set
- What I would do to go back to the construction of the great pyramid, though...set
- Which was likely before this comet impact 13,000 years ago, but we won't bring up that topic here ;)set
- The comet in your article had nothing to do with flooding - a comet large enough to flood significantly would be enough to kill everything. It prompted cooling.detritus
- Scientific evidence of a comet at the exact same time ancient cultures said there was one that caused floods, is enough for meset
- Science will figure it out eventuallyset
- Oh, sorry - you/it meant that the climate change ended the Ice Age and that caused flooding? I'm half asleep still.detritus
- (enough for me to think it's the most likely explanation). I have no fucking idea for sure, just like the rest of you.set
- ^ or main stream science would finally catch up ;-)mugwart
- I would've thought such an impact would, like messy volcanic eruptions, cool the atmosphere, not heat it enough to melt ice?detritus
- Sometimes I wish notes updated in realtime, hahadetritus
- Haha totallyset
- i think it is fascinating.ApeRobot
- Sure isset
- Some people would rather ridicule and not even look in to it though. Bizarre isn't it...set
- yup, pretty normal human behavior.ApeRobot
- The five stages of grief.ApeRobot
- I dont get it, there some incredible stuff here... if nothing alone it is fascinating.mugwart
- These are literally the people responsible for holding humanity back.set
- From what?detritus
- From finding out the truth. From learning. From moving forward out of our ignorance. You name it...set
- ^ or even questioning it.mugwart
- We are no longer allowed to question "truth". Because we never have been lied to before ...mugwart
- since1979-8
The evidence is overwhelming.

Randall Carson is another name worth looking in to...

- do you even sleep bro?GuyFawkes
- Ah, he's shown himself. How are you feeling after posting such embarrassing close minded nonsense?set
- Have a wonderful day. Next time, do a little reading before having such strong opinions.set
- asking for scientific evidence is nonsense?GuyFawkes
- I must go to work now, but i shall return, have a wonderful sleep.GuyFawkes
- No, you didn't ask for evidence. You plainly suggested multiple times in the other thread that it was nonsense. Remember.... ?set
- Your retarded logic about fish? You felt so strongly that you were correct that you created a thread in order to ridicule, with tumbleweeds and everything...set
- At least have some grace about it.set
- you mean reading other's research and then believing it?
;)monospaced - Oh look its super sceptic who cannot assess life on his own and only ever accepts the official explanation for anything...set
- Welcome to the discussion, do you have anything of any value to add?set
- Probably not rightset
- Mono is clearly fully in stage one of the grief stages, too, bless himset
- Dude set. Do you think for a second I would talk about evolution without research? I promise, I’ve done more than any average person. With degrees to back it upmonospaced
- So maybe don’t accuse people of not doing research when in fact you probably didn’t do as much as them ;)monospaced
- Additionally, did you not recognize I copy and pasted your own words basically? It was a JOKE man. Please relax. You seem uptight.monospaced
- The difference is you were talking as if you knew for absolute fact, you don't, I've only ever suggested what is the most likely conclusion based on researchset
- Huuuuge difference...set
- Seriously man, I know that. I was joking around. I get your point. I’ll admit that despite it being the only likely solution ever, evolution could be fake.monospaced
- Which clears the difference. I don’t like fighting. I’m being light hearted. I haven’t challenged a single thing in this thread. Not once.monospaced
- Just reading.monospaced

- Part of Anger and Bargaining i think.ApeRobot
- Mass consensus and a multitude of measurable datapoints that form a bank of evidence (subject to re-interpretation if required) don't make any difference?detritus
- Of course they make a difference but this is a still a vastly hypocritical and shallow way of trying to rubbish this offset
- Not to mention pure denial of the evidenceset
- It does require explanation as to why, when faced with conclusions reached through use of the scientific method, some folk round here reject them without...Morning_star
- ...consideration. Instead, choosing their own dogma as 'gospel'.Morning_star
- ^ Well said. It's insanity.set
- You even copied my wink. How did you not see I was just playing with you man? I AM POINTING OUT exactly this. Haha.monospaced
- You called me out on trusting science. I was just doing the same. Difference is I’m not calling you a hypocrite for it. ;)monospaced
- I mean, did you get so stoned you don’t recognize I’m using your exact question and words back to you? lol, love you man. Please chill.monospaced
- I called you out on talking as if it was absolute fact when all you've done is read other people's research, right?set
- I've only ever said here that it's what I think is the most likely conclusion based on reading other people's research. Monumental difference, dude...set
- It was a joke!monospaced
- It's always a joke rightset
