I attempted this yesterday, but I think my yeast was mostly dead as it didn't rise all that much and doesn't have the flakey/tearable structure. Tastes fine.
- J Kenji Lopez-Alt says this kind of bread makes a superior grilled cheese. Haven't tried it, so I wouldn't know.Continuity
