Been doing some construction shit here in NY. I should totally have got onto going around to restaurants in the city to build out outdoor dining. But only thought of it after is was all done. But have been helping out on some construction jobs here and there. Nice to get your hands dirty, body tired and some cash in your pocket, while upskilling. Just need to get into some better paying gigs.

I started a cannabis exchange platform for medical users. weetend.com - Haven't monetized it yet. We only have 500 members. Social platforms wont let us advertise, so we're basically land locked.

I'm 17 yo. working full time while in school. I got moved from the agency to their "web" subsidiary after 3 months as a graphic-operator and got promoted to junior art (because i knew how to draw shit for websites and banners :).
The office had a separated room where a really strange guy walked in every morning at 9am, and out at 5pm like clockwork.
After the first month or so one day i was be able to look into his office and I noticed that he had multiple screens with charts and lots of excel like stuff on his screen. I became curious so I asked.
He was really glad that someone was interested, and we started a conversation, what ended up with me developing an addiction to charts and what comes with it:
stock tradingI love its complexity, how it demands to be able to stay up to date and think in context.
The weird is that I never cared about the money part of this thing but everybody else does and like with many things in my life when people smell the $$$ making they won't let me go, and I am the bad person and shitty friend for not helping.
- So you joined QBN before you were born?dopepope

ShapeSalad is making an online *global* POD store... need advice...
Which domain ending is best for global reach and SEO?
.store
.shop
.co
.online
.org- I've always liked the briefness of .co AND I could be wrong, BUT I don't think the suffix makes much of a difference anymore.
Using .com is obviously ideal.ideaist - yeah want .io and .com, but taken but those people that park domains as a side hustle...shapesalad
- *by those peopleshapesalad
- Always been a huge fan of .onlinenb
- funny i don't know any websites i use that have .onlineshapesalad
- if you can't avoid running it on alt domains do .shop and .co, buy the rest and redirect.sted

I had an idea for a side hustle the weekend after I amicably left a job back in May.
7 months of weekends and evenings chipping away at it. Learning lots of new things. Late nights workings and feeling super tired after a days work.... a few helpful answers from QBN... after launching a few weeks ago - today I made my first sale.
- What is it? Sorry if I missed a post somewhere else, but congrats anyway!_niko
- Revealing it would give away my identity. But suffice to say you can’t do it if all you do after work is watch Netflix.shapesalad
- Congrats... but watching Netflix is how I unwind from a day of stomping out endless fires in my tediously bland job that helps keep a roof over my head.jonny_quest_lives
- Was it a physical IRL sale or online sale? Does ur job involve computer code?? Give us a hint!cherub
- Onlyfans?nb
- its an online store selling original designed prints. niche theme and sector.shapesalad
- @jonny_quest_lives I get it, I used to be the same.. but wasn't seeing any progress in my life so tried to cut the passive unwinding and turn it into...shapesalad
- ...active unwinding doing something that hopefully will get me out of the day job sooner.shapesalad
- Congrats! May you have many more Netflix free evenings working for yourself! Nothing better than having someone give you money for your idea.lemmy_k
- Congrats manGuyFawkes
- That's cool shapesalad. I have a friend who sells custom wallpaper and prints on etsy. It's a good hustle for him.cherub

I used to save my links to Delicio.us back in the day before they shut it down and erased all the saved links.
After that I was using Onetab which saves tabs in your browsers cache and there's always a risk to lose them all plus using it on different computers create an issue.
So I thought there's a need for a new tab organization tool in the market and 4 years ago I designed a chrome extension for managing tabs and links as a side project. I hired a guy and get it developed and put it on chrome store.
https://chrome.google.com/websto…We kept adding features to the point that I was able to sell some features per subscription. As of now it has a little over 3000 users but it's really not a money maker, makes around a recurring $100 a month.
But I spend about $150 for db/servers/plugins monthly plus the developers time$.One of the paid futures are auto saving all your tabs daily. Kind of like chrome's native history feature so it's nothing unique but it saved maybe millions of tabs in my servers so far partially labeled by users.
In the near future I will either stop developing and eventually shut it down or I will do something that will add more value.
I was thinking maybe at this point some AI features can be added. Like automatically categorizing/labeling your tabs and organizing them and suggesting new ones etc... I just don't know how feasible and valuable that will be.
What do you guys think?
Is there a potential to add more value/monetize?
I'm open for partnerships as well.- my first onetab says Created 5/30/2015, 11:32:17 PM. the option to share as a web page leads me to believe they are storing it as well.imbecile
