Germany would take a 250 Billion hit if they cut of Russian Gas the economy would shrink by 2% or something, which in reality isn't too bad all things considered.

I'm really curious to know how it can be that it seems impossible to determine which version of the whole Moskva story is the correct one.
It's the 21st century, ffs. One can't pick one's nose without *someone* either seeing it, recording it, observing it via satellite, Instagramming it, or taking a selfie with it.

I doubt it is impossible - it's just that us plebs don't get to see it.
I've seen absolutely zero footage more advanced than that from cellphones or UKR drones. The US/Nato/etc sure as heck isn't sharing what they most assuredly are with the Ukranians and relevant parties, but given their capabilities, you can be sure there's a lot of stuff going on unannounced in the background.

Fucking hell - so this would be even more lives lost than the sinking of The Belgrano during the Falklands War, which to my mind is one of, if not the biggest loss of life, in a naval engagement since WW2?
