Met a great artist (her name is Davina) at the Art Fair in Frankfurt today. We have the same gallerist and I actually love her painting with Alf:

It's really inspiring to exchange thoughts with other artists.

    • Is that a painting of an NFT below?Nairn
    • No, it’s by Käpten NobbiSimonFFM

    Apple

My new laptop came today. I picked up a refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 Pro chip, 12 CPU / 18 GPU core, 36GB of memory. Got a great deal after trading in a couple of old work phones.

    • Nice @monospaced!

      Apple certified OR other?

Lookin' at similar spec myself; deciding between Macbook Air / Pro...
      ideaist
    • Yeah from apple.monospaced
    • I knew I could save a ton with a Mac minii, but opted for portability.monospaced
    • AND the M3 Pro chip is VERY capable opposed to a brand new M4, eh?

      Niiice.
      ideaist
    • Will outpace the base model by a huge margin.monospaced
    • M4 is just bettergrafician
    • I doubt the base M4 would outperform an M3 Pro with double the memorymonospaced
    • Plus, the M4 isn’t even available and certainly not at the reduced price.monospaced
    • The M4 equivalent would have cost nearly $900 more, and I wouldn’t even notice the difference.monospaced
    • 36GB of memory is going to be insane on any M chip. Should easily last you ten yearsnb
    • That was my goal. And of course will help a ton with my 3D. I only went with a 512GB HD.monospaced

    Food

All right folks, I need your input in them-there notes >

When using a recipe website, do you prefer:

    • Method write-up with photos for each step, or;
    • Just the method write up is fine, thanks.

Your input will be helpful, and I thank you kindly for your lovely answers.

Why do I keep thinking so many women are into me but I can't even find one to date.

    It's confusing.

My coworker who is married, comes over and taps me playfully on the shoulder and wants to talk pretty frequently.

My friend at a bar I go to weekly is always hugging me and staring at me but we've hung out and the spark is not there.

Met a cool girl at a party who wanted to talk, asked me lots of questions and gave me her number. We went out for drinks a few days later and she wanted to pay, and then she tells me about her boyfriend and how it's not a good relationship, but she's trying to make it work.

    My barista makes small talk.
