-"I'd rather date the girl who looks a little less pretty that you could talk to for hours than the hot girl that grabs your attention when she walks in the room - but can't talk about much besides PRADA, handbags, etc."

Biofreak wins... he has a goatee which has much more tugging thought powers than my soul patch... unless of course we're talking about the soul patch in my pants.

i just wanted to say that i love you all
i do understand your comments
i may have been being a prick defending my work (thank god its not design, notice that its not in my portfolio).
i say if someone got paid to do simple site for 28 mill, hey good for them.
if 2AD got paid to do intro for 28 mil, dang thats good salesmanship...
as long as someone is making money i am happy but i really wish that it was me....
- MrDinky0
bio looks like he can really kick my ass... so i wont aruge with him

If design took a back seat to functionality in this world we'd all be driving cars that resemble "the Homer"
- matt240
haha - good point - but hey there were some sweet features on that car
- MrDinky0
honestly, if i was in charge of the porject i would put alot of emphasis on front end but i wasnt ..
hey it makes money so i am ok with that

I think the company that developed the site should be forced to give all us unemployed NT posters 40 grand this Christmas....

i am afraid that k0na's trouser soul patch has as much if not more clout than my own goatee.
i officially hand the thoughtful tugging award to k0na. for everything that he was, is and will be. k0na... you ... mean... everything to me. dont ever stop stroking that patch.
- k0na_an0k0
i try not too. i feel like if i do i'll lose my creative edge... and my weiner thanks to an unfortunate wheelbarrow accident as a child. but we won't get into that.
thanks for your love and support bio.

"you guys not knowing the full scope of the project and bashing it very unfair. "
People should be allowed to criticize the end result without having to know a single thing about the scope of the process. Frankly, you keep on bringing up the talent of the people involved and the amount of research that was conducted, but what good was the talent or research if it results in a site that is a failure?
In other words, if the average person has the choice between amazon (amazing usability, clean, great hierarchy) and that site (an abomination on many fronts including usability, appearance, even just font selection) for purchasing a product, why on God's earth would they choose that site? Answer: they wouldn't.
So all this impressive research was for naught.
- monNom0
but it is successfull... and they don't sell books, or dvd's, or glorified razor-scooters.
- morphinelips0
CT and Amazon do have some commonality between what they sell: electronics and workout equipment and the like.
And I would need more proof as to its success than just the word of someone posting on NT.
