oh and robert. cool down.
you don't know me.
there are plenty of things that are typical to American culture, as there are for other cultures like mine.
when i say that i do not point at every single American, neither so for other cultures.
...anyway:
i won't take back my words.

yeah, true, Montreal.
And tragedies happen; it's called life indeed. And I fucking know it!
you can't go after each and evryone and claim their responsibilities, that's just plain unrealistic.
goodnight.

lie i said:

I think I'm gonna sue Dairy Queen, that's what I said, DQ..you know why? Well, let me tell...I had a banana split and the next day my face was broken out. I go to a pitch meeting and I don't get the job. I'm thinking, thanks alot DQ...you just cost me that job cause I had a red face. Think I'll get Johnny Cochran on this one. :)

That particular market will have to close down because it wont be able to afford to pay the insurance. Thats the problem with the world today. And thats why insurance is so high and why many an innocent event cant be staged anymore becuause peolple cant afford the personal liabiltiy insurance. In this case the insurance companies should pay out. But its only going to make insurance higher and higher etc etc
It was a terrible accident. I think the guy driving made a mistake, hit the wrong pedal, paniced, got confused. A terrible accident. I just hope theres no lynch mob after him. A person like him will have to live with that, it would be different if he was a cold hearted criminal with no remorse. But this guy will have that on his mind to the grave. i feel bad for him and those involved.

"What the hell are you talking about? Where are you from Germany ? I should say the typical German/Nazi justice is to kill million of Jews"

skonge, coffee is not supposed to be served 190 degrees. It's the law, and that particular McD had several prior complaints that it was serving coffee too hot.
Second, you have knowledge of how the coffee was brewed if you brewed your own coffee. You don't have knowledge of how hot the coffee is when someone else does it for you then proceeds to hand you the coffee in a foam cup.
Third, there is an implication that food that is served is ready for eating.
I swear. people just like reacting to headlines. They have no interest in reading further, just so they can keep their smug anger and superiority complex.

coffee boiled is coffee spoiled.
- shellie0
kpl, thats exactly what i was saying.
- skonge0
well if its that hot how do you even hold the cup?
i know there are farmers markets on main street in venice. i live in venice. there will be a farmes market tomoorow morning in the parking lot across the street from my house. there is one in a parking lot on pacific on the weekends. maybe keep them in parking lots?

it's still a bit mysterious to me...

I was at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica (where this tragedy was) this Saturday afternoon and unbelievably there was a farmer's market, albeit on a much smaller scale. Usually the farmer's market only happens on Sundays and Wednesdays.
