Crying at work is punishable by instant dismissal.
- Crying in general bothers me. But mainly the fake or overdramatic one that lots of women do.Jaline
- This was the laughing type of crying.MrOneHundred
- I'm crying now********

does the inability to stop slamming H indicate i have an obsessive personality?
- No, just means you’re a people person.MrOneHundred
- Nope. Just indicative of a lethal addiction, I *think*.********

I once guessed ( exactly as it turned out) the number of gumballs in a bowl at a hardware store and winning only earned me the hatred of neighbors who thought I had some kind of formula, a system. Nothing I said could diminish that impression. I bought a drill, hammers, screwdrivers, a half dozen vise grips, a canvas plumbers bag,

- did the villagers burn your house?********
its a parable I told them asthey thrashed the scullery maid********
- no party

Mr100 you're in charge of logging everything from 3 pages back and do a complete synthesis of what the fuck is going on this thread by tomorrow morning 9:30 GMT.
You'll be rewarded accordingly.- GFY********

Hey, I just remembered I get next week off.
Like Spring Break, but not as retarded.- At least the U.S.A. makes it look that way.Jaline
- Are you gonna go down to Cancun and drink lots of beer?MrOneHundred
- Never.Jaline
- So no convertible mustang full of you and your friends going wild in Miami? Do people even still do that? (except calles).********
- No. Sounds fun to hang out like that with friends, but the whole Spring Break thing is not my thing.Jaline

What the??! The latest episode of "Chuck" was supposedly better with 3D glasses. I'm watching it now, and it's annoying. It's slightly blurry without the glasses, and the colour is distracting. Nerdiest show ever.

Nearly set my kitchen on fire tonight when the pot that i was deep-drying sweet potato fries in overflowed.Fire wentout from consuming the fuel (the cooking oil) and me blowing it out. My eyes are still burning a bit from the smoke.
In a not so shocking revelation, this is not the first time i have been involved with fire and the kitchen.- did you try again... or order out?PonyBoy
- You need to keep a fire blanket handy.MrOneHundred
- At least you didn't get hurt.Jaline

One of the best intro sequences:
including "True Blood", "Dexter", "Huff", and many other HBO and Showtime shows, that is.- +1 for Rose Byrne.
*droolsMrOneHundred - She's not a great actress, but the other actors make her better somehow. Glenn Close is superb.Jaline
- agreed. love the still images********
- I wasn’t drooling over her acting skills ;-)MrOneHundred
- Oh, I know. You said the same thing about Kreuk. They are beautiful, but I can't help myself from commenting, lolJaline
- I think it's because I watch so much TV and film, and it takes a bit away from the experience when the acting is sub-par.Jaline
- And because I'm a female.Jaline
- very niceutopian
- the show itself, while entertaining, is very wooden and soap operatish********
- I get bored sometimes (god knows I don't need another legal show), but the ending of each episode is usually good.Jaline
- +1 for Rose Byrne.

hmmm... Just got a reply for a friend request from my old best friend in high school. He remembers my name and vaguely recognises my face, but has no other recollection beyond that.
Funny how that happens.
- Facebook? That tends to happen. It's weird, but sometimes cool.Jaline
- Yes. I have been trying to track him down for about 5 years. Needless to say, my expectations were higher.MrOneHundred

- I would say too much drugs.MrOneHundred
- I was so impressed when i saw you on faecesbook the other day!_salisae_
- I am actaully pretty impressed by what my former classmates accomplished.Fariska

hahaha mr100,
we always eat aidan's candy and treats. despite the fact that the sugar makes him absolutely lose his mind, and the fact that he never remembers what he gets, i still feel guilty on a regular basis
*eats kiddie sized snickers
- Is it stuff you guys bought him, or stuff he gets from other people? I wouldn't feel too bad if it's stuff you got him, as longJaline
- as there is some left for him.
I guess when you get older it changes. I have no memory of my parents doing this.Jaline - stuff from parties and halloween7point34
- he would get more if he wasn't so horribly affected by sugar. it really makes him insane.7point34
- that might sound redundant to say a kid with sugar acts like an animal, but he is very hard to control7point34
- My boys don’t need the amount of treats they get from parties, friends, Grandmas, etc.MrOneHundred
- Jaline0
And with that beautiful image above, I would like to say goodnight. Until next time,
J

The thing is if you reserve the candy for the children, one of two things will happen:
A) They'll gorge themselves on it and the resulting daily sugar rush will drive all parental units insane
or
B) You will mete it out in a responsible way and a good portion of it will go badThat being said, we go with B. i'm getting to be too much of a fattie to be eating that shit and my wife only wants the chocolate stuff and only if it's gluten-free. So, yeah, a good deal of it goes bad.
*eats snickers sized kiddie
- they make children the size of snickers bars?_salisae_
- the sugar rush and children is not really true is it?********

- OK OK I'll GFM********
- Sugar is like cocaine for kidslocustsloth
- Option B.MrOneHundred

hahaha i wish i had a video camera to tape the mr. hydean transformation from sweet yet mischevious 3 year old to absolute brat after the slightest bit of sugar touches his lips. he will laugh hysterically. he will yell and scream, and run around. he will not listen to anyone. he gets in trouble within 5 mins.
no joke.
he had a jelly bean once and was sitting in time out 5 mins later

For my youngest kid, being overtired does relatively the same thing, except with the added bonus of being overly emotional. So he'll be sitting upside down on the couch, bumping into people, running back and forth back and forth thru various rooms. Saying incoherent things loudly and with much enthusiasm..... and then when he gets in trouble, he'll bawl and go hide. And when we ask him to speak calmly about why he's upset, the reason is COMPLETELY unrelated to anything that took place within the last 30min.
- HOLY SHIT!!! i just realized at least half the population of this community just need a good night's sleep!!locustsloth
- Yes, over-tiredness is the real problem at our place too.MrOneHundred
