Well, my grandmother died of fucking Covid Sunday. We had already started planning her 100th birthday at the end of January. But instead, she is dead. She died four hours after arriving at the hospital. I was the only one that was able to go see her body. I suited up from head to toe and sat next to her lifeless body for 30 minutes.
Our entire family is vaccinated and we all stayed away from her for over a year. Except for my idiot fucking uncle that thinks he's some kind of reincarnated, Yogi, Hindu god. Always leeching off her, always in her ear whispering non-sense medical advice like don't take the vaccine. So of course he isn't vaccinated and guess who the only person to see her regularly was. Fuck this disease and fuck the internet with its evil tentacles deceiving so many low IQ humans!

Anyone have any tips for decent home video conference setup - ie Zoom etc? I have a shitty old MBP and the camera is pretty rank. I have no real need to update the machine...but if I have to I have to.
Alternatively if there are some low cost, half decent webcams / mics that anyone can recommend.
I have a whole series of Zoom meetings scheduled for the next month or so and I don't want to completely embarrass myself.

A good, but chronically-broken friend delayed getting his first jab 'til Sunday prior. He's always injured, this time with severe shoulder pain described as "imagine your funny bone's been hit, but it's all the way from your upper bicep to your neck. All the time".
Anyway, he managed to catch covid sometime over the week after, before the first jab had a chance to do anything. Apparently he came down quite hard (but not bad) on Saturday.
Covid-diagnosis means he can't see a doctor or physio for another two weeks, so he's left in suffering limbo.
Sounds like he's going to spend the duration on vast amounts of codeine and diazepam... . Silly sausage.

just had a call from someone to tell me to pull my finger out and sort out her missing luggage. i explained that i was a freelance graphic designer and had nothing to do with any airline or airport, but she insisted that mine was the number that she had been given and please could i help her as the hotel were being no use.
so i asked her which airport she was referring to and she said heathrow, so once again i told her that i was sitting in a design studio in hammersmith working on an annual review and there was nothing i could do about it.

I've never used these fonts, and it seems most of the fonts are old Postscript 1 type files etc.
Anyway.. there are a couple of them I'd like to use in some low income prints I'm making... thoughts on legality of it all?
Is it a big no no, or yeah sure. I'd be tracing over the type anyway.

Having a bit of a crisis... I just saw an edited, timelapsed burger assembly on one of Gordon Ramseys social medias.
Here is how I assemble a burger bottom to top.
Bun, mayo, patty, cheese on patty, lettuce, onion, tomatoe, mustard and catsup on bun, finito.
Ramsey builds it like this:
