Kona, let kerry close the corporate tax loopholes, not start any new wars and try to repair some of the damage that the neo-cons have done regarding foreign policy and he will be the exact opposite of bush.

the loopholes aren't going away. Kerry is a rich prick just like Bush, he uses the loopholes to keep his wife's dough just as much as all the other rich pricks out there. If you think that by closing corporate tax loopholes will put more money in your pocket or go towards some form of healthcare system you my friend are sadly mistaken...We have had dems as pres before same promises no results, what makes Kerry different?
Same goes for repbulicans, they are all bastards!

ha, yeah what speed_d said. In terms of the economy, Democrats are just as much, if not more, for corporations than Repubicans.
- mrdobolina0
speed d, you are just disenfranchised. what is the fucking alternative between now and november?
- Mimio0
It's institutionlized, Governors in the US are in bidding wars with each other for corporations to come to their states. So naturally they give tax exemptions out as incentives. Profit chasing is to blame.

(aug 17 04, 08:46)hahahhha, more than bush??!!:?...hahahhahaa
get real KUZ

if anything, the democrats are more in the pocket of the unions than they are in the pocket of pfizer or halliburton, use your head.

They're both crap candidates. THey will both look out for thier buddies in the high 10%. They both claim they're out for the regular guy, but proving it is another story.
not that I support Bush, but this one-sided sh*t get's me pissed, from both sides.

preach on, JazX.

just a quick question:
how many people are actually still undecided yet about who they're voting for?
- mrdobolina0
xaos and JazX, what is the fucking alternative, nader?
- Kuz0
To my knowledge, i may be wrong, Reapublicans were all about protecting small businesses, uncle joes farm - whereas the Dems were supported by the giant corporations. Historically speaking of course.
- JazX0
Sure, Nader or whomever. I don't have to vote for Bush or Kerry. Both of them don't impress me. Just because I know they will not win. Don't have a chance in hell, has nothing to do with why I would vote for them.
- speed_d0
look, i'm just saying that both sides are full of problems. However, I believe Bush needs to be held accountable for his actions during his term, and so my vote will go to Kerry, not because I am pro-Kerry but because I am anti-Bush, and I don't want my vote to be thrown away...
Kerry is no saint though, and by far is not the best person for the job

the world responds
- speed_d0
JazX if that's how you feel, then why vote in the first place... it's just a waste of your time
- loudubs0
he is the best person for the job in the running, however, in fact, with 20 or so years in the senate...he's very qualified.

republicans used to be about small government and fiscal responsibility. This president has raised the debt ceiling every year since taking office.
People say it is because of the war on terror, but Iraq wasn't ever proven a direct threat to the US.
Also, they say that Kerry voted for the war in Iraq the first time, but not the second. The real deal with that is what they voted on was the resolution giving the president the authority to go to war after all other diplomatic avenues were exhausted. Bush didnt do that, he rushed to war.
- speed_d0
Mr.D I agree with you 100%, now Bush needs to be held accountable
- brundlefly0
JazX should and will vote for whomever he wishes, the concept the founding father gave citizens was to have more than two choices...Nader is right to stay in as he is the only true third party you have to vote for. I understand why he is in and staying in, and much respect to him for doing so.
I think Nader would do a world of good to the US, its a shame he isnt respected enough to get his game on.
- JazX0
Why is it a waste of my time? You have to take baby steps for something you believe in before anything nutures.
- loudubs0
right on Mr. Dob. As far as Nader...well, he and John Kerry do go way back. In fact, Kerry was once viewed as "another Nader". They do talk on a regular basis...let's see
