"vote for indy congressmen before an indy president. "
I've seen you say that before, Dob..I agree...unfortunately, I live in GA and to my knowledge, it's Demos and Repubs from top to bottom. but I haven't done much research.
I did find a great resource called www.issues2000.org.
if there are other like this, that are seemingly non-biased, I'd be interested in checking them out.

see the hard part for me has always been trusting the information about said candidate.
talk radio is is right-wing....air america is left wing...O'Reily is right-wing....Peter Jennings is left wing...

So, a bunch of men saying
'John Kerry can not be trusted',
'You can't count on Kerry',
'He is lying'
etc etc.....
How about some actual facts about why he can't be trusted and what actually happened???
Useless propagandist rubbish.

Sure it is, but I wouldn't say it's useless, that type of crap works.

why can't we find a thing on Bush's drug buddy's. TIGHT. have them all together, shooting up and talking about bush.
hmm could be fun

wait a minute here. I just came into this thread and havent read all the posts.
but, why all of a sudden should people who have dissenting views of kerry be silenced? you call this slander. but what about the daily posts with silly propaghada slander about bush? do you see us conservatives whinning about that?
you libs are all about free speech, until there is some free speech that stings your silly little cause.
your doubletalk makes me sick. If you stand for free speech, then back up your fuckin words with some action.I can speak for myself only, but shame on you. grow up and accept the fact that people think differently than you.
- Mimio0
Bush/Rove are scared and desperate.
- Mimio0
Virtu,
Wouldn't free speech include criticising blatant propaganda?
Is someone attacking your right to make remarks here Virtu?
- mrdobolina0
john stewart said it best last week about Bush continually saying "we have turned the corner"
Bush : "We have turned the corner."
Stewart: "Then why are you still here?"
- virtu0
no one is outright saying we cant post that stuff. But, i am attacking the idea that any dissenting view of kerry is automatically bullshit and is reason to attack someone.
and, it also is not blatant propaghanda, and bush has nothing to do with it. These guys are attacking john kerry on their own behalf. Not on the behalf of any political party. If you were to research the political ties of these men, you would find that the group is composed of dems, reps, and indys. And, they are setting the record straight.
kerry was the one who made his military service the issue, and these guys are telling the other side of the story. and, wasnt it john edwards who said that you should ask the men who served with kerry? these guys served on the boats in kerrys fleet. granted, they werent on kerrys specific boat. But they were on the same river in the same fleet.

virtu,
not sure what magical land of make-believe you live in, but both sides are complaining about negative tactics equally. and there's a distinct difference between free speech and public slander. if you'd done some research into that ad you so proudly toted, you'd discover that not one of the people in the ad actually served on the swift boat kerry, they were simply in the war at the same time.
also, even mccain has come out and denounced the ad as being misleading and underhanded.

virtu, dissenting John Kerry, this year...(not next year) is impermissable, you should know better, just turn the other cheek.
there is only one thing you need to know...let's call this the Gnostic Election...know that John Kerry can read and interpret fiction while George Bush is fiction and can't interpret real events...
