if you haven't taken a full-time gig before, you may want to try it. i was freelancing for about 6 years before i was offered a position at an agency where i thought it would be a good fit.
the fit was terrible. i learned nothing new and left disgruntled. in the end tough, i'm glad i tried it.
i now really appreciate freelancing and, imo, i have much more security and money with my work now than before.
my point: try the job. if you like it, great. if you don't, you'll appreciate what you have as a freelancer much more. most people don't have the gonads to live from freelance. having that experience already gives you the freedom to leave when you want. good luck.

(Oct 1 07, 06:38)I was joking, but I actually have been working on a financial company's intranet.
The money's probably a tad better than web des/dev standard, especially that I'm on a long term part time contract. My 52 extra free days a year are about the best thing in the 4days/week scheme.
Time is life, isn't it? :)I don't have a car..

hi meeklo. don't know what studio you were talking to or how much they offered, but i do know that after working full-time at a number of places, some top-level, i can say that freelance is far and away the best route (for me anyway). i had some of the same things come up (offers with lower pay, etc.) and in the end it made me appreciate what i have even more.
