it's too much of a stretch to make the last character be an s as it is right now, I think it would look cook with a wee tail at the end hanging down below the other characters, I'm full of shit ideas though, except the elephant baloon thats fucking gold dust right there baby.
- cook = cool or fresh or dope or frikkin seet (take your pick)chossy

While I do agree that the S is a bit distracting, I don't think you need to remove it. Moreover, I think you could find some way to modify the I so that it doesn't create so much visual dissonance when paired with the curvaceousness of the other characters.

I dig the elephant, but don't understand why everyone thinks it should be smaller. I actually think it could get larger if the type was a bit more legible. The mark itself kinda makes me chuckle; I can actually sense the elephant balancing.
- Great point monospaced! now I kind of feel the elephant should be a little bit biggher,as it would give us balancing sensekojikabuto

Nice beginning. I would try a mixture of these suggestions.
1. Period at end of circus and put elephant balancing on it.
2. change the "s" style
3. maybe a different pose of elephant with trunk up
4. maybe elephant sitting on and squashing the "s"
5. have elephant holding one of the letters?Just a few different ideas. Good luck

i like the elephant one. it's clever.

I like the third one the best and the framing but it doesn't relate to a circus for me. Maybe expand on that one.

i dont think there is any reason not to go with a nice simple face under the elephant. (which is great btw.) post the updates!

there's a logo that's really similar to your first one, but now I can't find it.

make the "s" more readable in one and two

This might be a stretch, but....
After looking at the elephant again and again, I realized that the positioning of the elephant was kind of nice, in relation to where the dot on the i should be. Perhaps you could use that to your advantage. Right now, the i really sticks out for me. It's very stodgy and upright, whereas the other characters are very organic and playful.

the elephant reminded me of this one

Maybe you could turn your elephant facing left and have it carrying the dot on the "i" (just a thought).

Can you add some colors to it? I don't know...it looks a little boring black and white.... I like purple....
Oh, and can you make it a little bigger? That will definitely make it pop!
I have a picture of an elephant that might work perfect for the logo, I took it last weekend at the zoo... I'll try to bring it or adobe photoshop it for you to use. I'm not an expert, but I think it would look great. Just a suggestion tho...
- You know what, nevermind. My nephew has photoshop. Ill give him the picture and he can make the logo.baseline_shift

Without knowing any background, I choose #1. It's purty.
