If you have a long list of anything: artists, playlists, etc. It will have to load one screen full of items at a time. This makes it take an eternity to scroll though a long list. This has been going on for years. YouTube Music was also forced on everyone using Google Play several years ago. Google Play didn't have this issue but was killed for no reason.

Dear youtube,
If you offer a video in my feed and i don’t click on it, you should automatically mark it as “not interested” and never offer it again. If you offer a video i’ve partially or fully watched, you should automatically mark it “not interested > because i’ve watched it before” and never offer it again. Instead you just keep throwing the same uninteresting, irrelevant, already seen garbage at me over and over again on every refresh.
