How's the battery life? less volume = less space for batteries. I guess the newer components and a more optimised OS can save battery life but if they kept the previous size they could have added increased battery life.

Only catching up on this now. Time to fire a 1TB SSD in my 2015 MBP and ride out the shitstorm? no new iMacs either and I have 2k burning a hole in my pocket for a new work machine for about 4 months now! Really resenting Final Cut and Logic for locking me in to this nonsense of hardware or i'd be on that surface pro in a flash.
