Hell yeah! Got my measurements today and thrilled with my progress. Been working out 5x a week, weights and Peloton, doing If It Fits Your Macros nutrition plan for either fat loss or maintenance, totally sticking to it.
August 28th: 173.5 lbs / 18.9% body fat
November 7th: 169 lbs / 15.47% body fatTotally didn't expect to be under 16% yet. Major decreases in Pec from 15 > 10 and Abs from 33 > 25. Weight is above my morning wake up weight, been averaging 166/167 at wake up.
Love tracking this stuff and it's so much more motivating to see the data behind what I'm seeing change physically.

- By promoting natural ginger root?
Maybe watch the video first :)NBQ00 - He's got so many other videos, I don't trust himpinkfloyd
- don't be an incelpinkfloyd
- What does it matter... he only talks about natural ginger root in this video, not promoting any pills. Could've been from anybody else talking about ginger.NBQ00

- I have this mixed with turmeric.mugwart
- He's a doctor that has a more holistic approach than 'drug company' doctors. He sells books so he does have a commercial interests.mugwart
- So there is a cooperate intensive in his videos and a strong sense of irony/hypocrisy but I like his approach and he helped me when I was sick.mugwart

Does anyone know anything about sumo deadlifts? Can you get an effective upper back / trapz workout with it? I don't like doing standard deadlifts because it hurts my lower back.
- Work on your lowerback muscles, what your body is telling you is that you have a deficit in one of your muscle groups and you need to work on it to keep up.zarkonite
- But yeah, technically a sumo deadlift doesn't recruit your lowerback as much in the initial stages of the lift. Overall however, won't be much of a difference.zarkonite
- It's a mix of deadlift and squat but no stress on your backrobotron3k

- Except modern Bovril's just yeast extract with a bit of concentrated beef stock in for flavour.Nairn
- Huh, well shut my mouth - it's actually got beef in it these days? WTF? Last time i checked it was all yeasty?!Nairn
- Beef Broth (50%) [Water, Beef Bones],
Yeast Extract (27%) [contains Barley, Wheat, Oats, Rye], Salt, Water, Colour, Corn Starch, Beef Powder, MSGNairn - Well, demi-MSGNairn
- I thought the same until I saw beef was back in it. MSG is fine, it's naturally found in Kelp seaweed.shapesalad
- I must admit Bovril would be better without the 27% yeast extract as that tends to overwhelm the beef taste. Bring back beef tea I say:shapesalad

Getting to 9-10% bf is proving to be incredibly difficult. When I started my journey 3 years ago at 340 lbs I wanted to get to my dream goal of having a six pack and looking athletic. It seemed so impossible but pounds melted and it seemed like I will eventually get there. After losing 160 lbs and getting more athletic, I have really grown to respect people with amazing physiques because I've gotten to 14% bf and been at it for 4-5 months now. Working out 4-5 times a week and dropping down to 10% is insanely difficult holy shit. I've increased my muscle mass and leaned out but getting to six pack seems like an impossible task at the moment. Just insane.
I'm on keto/intermittent fasting, I work out like crazy, not too much cardio (aside from jumping rope between my sets for 60 seconds) and these periods of months where I don't see much progress if at all is really killing me.
Anyone with some suggestions on how to kick start this shit. I am hoping I can push through this block and get to 10% by spring/summer but I'm really kind of bummed out right now.
Maybe I should really increase my cardio as it is the last thing I'm thinking I'm not doing enough even though I do jump ropes as I mentioned and HIIT training for 45 mins every saturday so once a week.
- probably genetic more than anything but the basics hold true, no sugar, alcohol or dirty carbs. drink only water.imbecile
- if you're working that hard, the only reason you're still holding fat is because you're still consuming it.imbecile
- I work out 4-5 times a week and I'm still fat. I dieted and noticed nothing happens, so i said fuck it. I eat what I want but still work out. Genetics man...ArmandoEstrada
- I know nothing about all this but maybe put less pressure on yourself to achieve that final 1-2%. Crazy to be feeling bad about it when you've achieved so muchFax_Benson
- Might be your feeding window isn't narrow enough to limit the insulin spikes and cortisol production.SteveJobs
- Also, I highly suggest alternating hiit & liss. I've seen/read that some respond better to one vs other bc of stress caused by hiit, but if you can, do hiit.SteveJobs
- For diet, maybe adjust your macros and do re-feeds. Also, keto sometimes doesn't give enough energy for workouts so consider upping your carbs a bit.SteveJobs
