Have really enjoyed Saka’s playing in the tournament. Felt sorry for him to be on the 5th penalty. Way too much pressure for a 19 year old.

Congrats Italy.
But I have to be honest and say that in the end I felt for the English players and for Gareth Southgate.
Great team with a great future, Southgate really did a good job and it's a bit of a shame because they made a great tournament.
They can keep their heads up but Gareth has to think about his tactics in the second half and letting a 19 year old shoot the 5th penalty...
Apart from that congrats England too, despite laser beams...

Unfortunately Rashford, Saka and Sancho are getting a lot of racist comments in their social media account.
I checked a bunch of accounts who left those messages
Some were Irish, Italian, Arab, Swedish, Pakistani, AmericanNot generalizing, just saying that because people think it's Brits who wrote those.

Great game by the Italians, class of the tournament. They showed great patience, grit and determination after being down early. They carried the play, held possession and attacked constantly.
Shitty it had to end on penalties but well deserved.

mistakes were made, and it's on southgate.
1. going into defense mode after the goal and the whole second half.
2. not playing graelish and saka earlier
3. kids taking pens after playing for 2 minutesbut it was an interesting game. italy was resilient and determined, hard work paid off. respect!

- England were the better team in the first half.
- Italy dominated the 2nd.
- England didn't seem to have a response.
- Southgate waited too long bring on the subs.
- Italy could have had 2 players sent off.
- England looked to be edging it in extra time.
- In hindsight it was a mistake to bring on cold players with so little time before the penalties.
- Pickford did well in the shootout.
- Donnarumma did very well.It was close but Italy edged it.
England have come a long way.
