Anyone know much about camera lenses?
I'm looking to change my lens from 50mm to either a 24mm or 40mm lens to work in a smaller confined area of 4'x4' for product photography shots. I need to get more background in my shots, but I'm worried about getting distortion with a 24mm lens. I wonder if a 40mm will make a difference to the 50mm lens. Any thoughts of whether a 24mm or 40mm lens might be better?- What size sensor is it? 24mm is much wider than 50mm and will change the appearance of the products a lot.nb

I really don't want to leave the southwest :( No decisions have been made yet but I know my wife's not really digging it out here (she gave me a year)... she misses her family and the east terribly.
I grew up back there too but I DO NOT want to move back there... I'd like to move more rural but not into a place that blasts you w/snow, sleet and other unholy plague-like weather such as 3 days of overcast skies in a row... ... no....no no no NOOOOO!
