I've been thinking too about this possible oncoming economic recession. Bitcoin (and therefor all the coins) has only a slight positive correlation to the S&P 500, which means that if the broader stock market takes a dip, crypto could be a good place to abscond your funds to... at least while the bubble is bubbling.
This would be the first time that we saw the crypto market in action alongside an economic downturn. It will be interesting to see what happens...

A behemoth backing a central nexus would not only provide a bulwark against implosion but when it's someone like FB, would have the scope and reach to massively (MASSIVELY) legitimise the space.
I mean, beyond all recognition.
Sort of terrifying in a way - like the forcing of the concept before its hit any true, fungible, actual value. If the concept is just, then great, but if there's some chink in the chain that's not been considered, could unduly inflate the concept before its maturation.

a surprising rise, but we never really plummeted through $5800 like I thought we would once we got that low. We popped up here to just touch the downtrend and now hovering nearby. If you see BTC sustain a price over $6300, that's a big deal.I don't think we'll break out from here though. I think we shot our wad getting back up to $62XX and now we're going to bounce back down to really break through $5800 and further depths.

There's a lot of hype online that we just completed the inverse head and shoulders pattern and we're about to see a big move up for the medium term. Could happen very soon after today's little rally.
