I'm almost worried, it's not stopping

Huge jump for Bitcoin. Uncharacteristically, it increased a lot more than the altcoins, which usually rise and fall more drastically.
Right now BTC is up 10.76% compared to ETH which is only up 6.61%.
The biggest winner I'm tracking right now is fucking Dogecoin at 17.10 goddam percent. How in the hell?

Everyone is waiting for the Bitcoin EFT announcement (allowing BTC to be traded on a common stock exchange). People seem to think it's going to be tomorrow or this week. If it's approved Bitcoin will moon x5, which is why everyone is converting alts to BTC. (Some insiders are saying its already approved.)
It's not the first time an EFT approval is pending, it was rejected the first time, so who knows.

I've never seen BTC leave the altcoins in the dust before. It's unphased while every other coin is falling back to the levels they were at before 2 days ago. Some weird shit going on.

Just got access to some Bitcoin from an old account. Is this a good time to sell? It's on a surge at the moment but all the recent rallies have collapsed so I'm wondering if this one will too.

i got no goddamn clue what's happening w/ BTC. RSI on the daily chart is above 70 for the first time since december. pretty nuts. the alt coins are all left in the dust.
I mean I know people are excited for the august 10th (seems like the confirmed date) ETF announcement. but this is just crazy.
if they declare BTC a commodity and allow for an ETF, will alts rise with it? or will BTC suddenly surge again as the leader of the pack? it never occurred to me before to actually buy BTC compared to the alts...

Worst case scenario is that we will repeat the April bull run. ETF will probably be rejected for the 3rd time. The date of announcement coincides well with the timing of the next pullback.
If it gets approved anyway, fomo back in, from there the sky is the limit, nothing to lose.
