to be honest it's more straight mixing and dont need some of these gimmicky toys, which do look fun tho. I think traktor is what I'm leaning towards. Can anyone suggest a good interface for the setup?

Any Maschine users upgraded to 2.0 yet?
I'm waiting for a new Hard Drive coming and going to go for a fresh install - hopefully next week.Got REAL gear lust for Elektron's Analog Four at the moment and spend most of my time at work with peoples YouTube jams with A4's on in the background.

Did anyone hear/see the Deadmau5/BeamzDJ spat?
Deadmau5 slated it and threw one out his car at high speed and videod it or something.
BeamzDJ then released an advert featuring a character similar to Deadmau5 using the device then with the strapline at the end "so simple even a mouse could use it".
Think Mau5 was considering legal action as they used his likeness.

FAO prophet... just stumbled across your Teac mixer while googling Patrick Cowley's gear.
The following three pictures are of some of the legendary Patrick Cowley's original equipment. These synths and sound mixer were kindly given to RTP by Paul Parker and Ken Crivello. Ken and Paul inherited this equipment from their dear friend and colleague, Patrick and have now entrusted it to us.
Paul tells us that Patrick used this Teac audio mixer to produce all of his hits. The songs of Patrick Cowley, Paul Parker, Sylvester, Loverde, The Patrick Cowley Singers etc. were ALL mixed through this very machine. A true piece of disco history.

i ordered one of these Elektron Low frequency hoodies and it just arrived, and i have to say, this is seriously one comfortable hoodie.
also its the first time i have ever ordered a XL and its been almost too big for me..
super warm.. definite value.

This video captures a performance by Slawomir Zubrzycki on the Viola Organista – an instrument originally designed by Leonardo da Vinci 500 years ago.
The keyboard combines elements of the harpsichord, organ and viola da gamba. The performer pumps a pedal that turns a crankshart. When keys are depressed, turning wheels press against strings, creating the sound of a string ensemble.
