still looking for a dedicated production partner. will post here till i find them...either way, i can start sharing interests to the opposite of swine as we see these pearls dropped.
boom.
I like that the young Lex Luger, from Waka's click came up w/ this mastery. Its showing that him & his partner Southside, have a thing going, they're like Young Chop from Chicago, in the sense that they know how to find & ride the wave, this is the sound of the future. Kanye & DONDA, always will resonate w/ this because of the hometown significance even though Luger isn't from there and Southside is from VA...the wave is young production w/ BASS and melody...Ye, took the shit and flipped it (for those that don't know, you take a producers track & you add sonics to it, Travis Scott is a young guy doing it). If you see Chi-town has a southern resonance just like the are known for the founding of the gang shit that is in Cali. Anyway...it all connects and I fucks w/ this type of music.
travis scott beat produced by j gramm https://soundcloud.com/jgrammbea…
similar method ye used w/ ham, travis used w/ this...

I've been eyeing this thing. Modular version of the SH-101 with some updates/changes. It's priced about the same as the Cyclonix 303 clone which I'm also looking at. Gotta love those Roland filters.

Saturday night jam with Teenage Engineering OP-1, Volca Bass and ReBirth on iPad. All 3 sources fed into a Belkin Rockstar (best £10 you'll ever spend on gear) with one output going to monitors and one output going to computer to record audio.

Another OP-1 video.
This time how to back up, rename and manage your files with your ipod/ipad/iphone rather than needing to be tied down to a computer.

- just ran one of my tracks through that, not as bad as i was expecting.kingsteven
- yeah it wasnt too bad.. i ran a track thru i had mastered a few months back to do an A B..autoflavour
- it was ok.. not amazing, but quicker than doing it myself in izotope for those times when i just need it louder, not "mastered"autoflavour
- actually masteredautoflavour

^^
just downloaded the mastered mp3 and did a comparison with the one I did myself yesterday... did a decent job with the eq (seems to have adapted to different sections) + was surprised that it had corrected a panning issue that i had to automate...in the loud sections though it seems to have whacked about 3dB off my peaks while maintaining around the same (-10dB) average... unforgivable, but i did spend a good half hour on that track... obviously a decent professional mastering job would blow it out of the water.

^^
I uploaded a track too just to see how it went. The song I uploaded was in no way professionally mastered or much time spent on the output.
It did a decent job of bringing out all the sounds and making some of the instruments and sounds 'sparkle'.If you had knocked something together whilst on the go using headphones instead of your monitors that you quickly wanted to give a quick polish to DJ with or send to someone then this would be an ok solution.

just got this - having trouble getting the serato to recognize the 2nd deck. I think it's a firmware issue. Anyone have a pioneer ddj?
