don't worry in matter of armaments,
guns are the least of your problems

Then there's this:
http://health.usnews.com/health-…
"Inactivity May Kill as Many Worldwide as Smoking"So we're losing 5 million to lazy unhealthy living
Another 5 million to smoking
Another 1.2 million to cars
and you're caught up on 100,693 lost to guns?So much so that you're not concerned with the situation or the attacker, simply remove the gun and the problem will be solved?
What are the 11.2 million people doing so wrong that you won't go up in arms to save their lives, why is 10% of that number worth defending and the other 90% simply ignored?
Do you want people to live or not?
If it's so easy to save people from themselves, get everyone a gym membership and abolish cigarettes. You'll have just saved 11 million people instead of 100,000.

Second hand smoke? Seriously? I can't remember the last time I was in public and had to breathe second hand smoke. Thanks to the laws.
And you equating second hand smoke to a stray bullet just shows how warped and illogical your thinking is. My god... you'd have to breath in probably 80 years of second-hand smoke every minute of every day for your entire life to feel any effect. Or die instantly from a bullet. Same thing, right?
If you want to smoke. Smoke.
If you make me smoke, then we have a problem. If you want to shoot yourself. Shoot yourself.
If you me, then we have a problem.People can do whatever they want to their own bodies. Problem arises when you fuck with someone else's.
- 99.986% of gun owners are responsible. they should be left to do as they please.albums

adding the smoking deaths is very relevant, you're trying to take guns away because of irresponsible behavior. to smoke, whether it's at home or not is simply bad for your health, so irresponsible behavior. if you're not treating the 99.986% of responsible gun owners with any respect, why allow smokers any respect to do as they please?
lol at people trying to take a gun away from a gun owner, but not cigarettes away from an addict. though cigarettes kill 5000% more people.
There is no preservation of life in this discussion anymore, it's a riot mob out to lynch a gun.
- CanHasQBN0
albums, with your inane analogies, life itself would be banned because the result of life is death. We are talking about people shooting OTHER people.
If you want to be lazy and sit on a couch, and that kills you. So be it. It was your choice to be lazy. You are not killing ANOTHER fellow human being by being lazy. You are only killing YOURSELF. And that's your choice.

5 million dead from smoking is okay because it's suicide, 100,000 dead from guns are bad because it's murder.
the anti-gun defense to preserve life has jumped the shark.
- BusterBoy0
@albums...seriously, does this ridiculous argument need to be done to death? If you can't see the difference between a vehicle, which is intended to transport a person from one place to another, and a weapon which has been designed to kill...then there's little point arguing with you.

wait a second, is it okay for me to own a gun if i promise to commit suicide?
- CanHasQBN0
If someone knows the risk of smoking, they know they are killing themselves. I do not care if they live or die. They know the consequences.
100,000 dead from guns are 100,000 people that did not want to die, and did not make the decision to die. Someone else made that decision for them. Are you able to discern this difference?
- do you really think 5 million people want to be addicted to cigarettes?albums
- how many help me quit threads and blog entries mention difficulty quitting.albums
- They made the decision to start smoking. And they can quit. It's not unachievable. People quit all the time.CanHasQBN
- Besides, if you die of smoking, you are probably 60-80 years old anyway. How you can compare it to getting shot is insane.CanHasQBN

cigarettes are intended to be addictive, the industry hopes you'll smoke 5 then you're a regular customer. that shit is so engineered it's legal crack, but you're cool with it because of some personal connection?
weak argument.
- Do one-third of U.S. adults want to be obese?Sep
- Not weak at all. At the end of the day, it's one's personal choice to start up.CanHasQBN
- It's not one's choice to be shot.CanHasQBN
- food doesn't have the same addictive properties added like cigarettesalbums
- sep I already covered the inactivity above, just as bad as smokingalbums
- albums0
The thing is, I know you know cigarettes are super engineered to be addictive but you don't care for the sake of THIS argument, you're cool with a slow death bought at the store. Addiction is a real thing that the tobacco industry thrives on. if you're cool with those deaths, your moral compass is more off kilter than you believe mine to be.
I like how my defense of gun ownership makes me a potential threat. Those statements from you is ignorance in itself.

Off to bed. Goodnight murderers!
Just kidding.
Except for albums.
No I'm just kidding.

I like being on the right side even though you think it's wrong, I might go to the shooting range again tomorrow. it's nice to hear your opinions but your reasonings are empty the stats don't support the need to abolish guns. I understand you don't like guns. For that I'll tell you mine aren't loaded, they're locked away. 1 key to get in the box, another 2 to free each their triggers. I like aiming at paper. I was robbed with a shotgun in my mouth a decade or so ago. Guns are weapons, people use weapons of all kinds, it's how we are. I don't want my gun taken from me, I also don't want to be robbed again. I also want worldwide renowned clients and a house in Spain but hey...
All we've learned is people are selfish and will do as they please.
like argue with strangers with funny names on the internet.
- ya.... having a gun locked away doesn't help you from being robed...pango
- they albums. you gotta understand most qoobs are liberal terrorists! they hate freedom! no point arguing with them.pango
- having a gun locked away is nothing to do with wearing a robe, I agree!BaskerviIle

Anyone got the numbers on knife deaths?
What about fight deaths?
Lead-heavy tap water deaths?
Oil rig explosion deaths?
- BusterBoy0
Here in Australia we banned a whole bunch of firearms after some cockhead went on a rampage and slaughtered 35 people in one afternoon. In actual fact, this was done by a conservative government so hats off to them. Ever since that day, there has been a significant drop in the number of firearms related deaths...but I suppose tyhat doesn't count.

I'll just leave this here for you bleeding hearts misinformed about gun control laws. Cheers.
