@mono - as I have said many times before I do not hate Apple, I love my Apple products (though do hate the iPhone and have chosen a platform that suits me better) in particular my 27" iMac which has served me well and will be replaced with equivalent as soon as it dies (although it has nearly died once already ooops).
I just don't get all the orgasmic excitement people have over what should be treated as a tool - hate the obsession with the object and not what you do with it. And as I have also said we haven't seen much innovation from them lately (4-5 years) - which is worrying from what was the most innovative company in the world. I don't want to see them fail and I doubt they will for a long time with such brand loyalty but its always good to critique the stuff we buy rather than automatically get aroused by them like your good self does.
p.s. I have lost what little respect I had for you over recent events (but lets not dredge that up eh).- yeap2002
- where the hell did I exhibit any orgasmic excitement for Apple? everything I post is about their businessmonospaced
- and based on what you wrote here, we are basically exactly the same in every way when it comes to Applemonospaced
- I don't know why your'e focusiing on me, because i'm certainly not the one being aroused by themmonospaced
- you got a likkle stiffy monofadein11
- I get a stiffy for good design... when it's good... just like you, which explains why you still have some repsect for Apple's designmonospaced

I just want to let you all know that,
even if you love, use and advocate apple products, it wont make you a better designer.
and they wont hire you because you are a dedicated brand consumer.

Whatever you all said, I disagree.

Let's put it this way, I click on Chick of the Day more often than this thread.

"First came the Mac. Then the iPhone. Then the iPad. You might call it a hat trick. But it's not a trick at all. We just look to where the puck is going to be, and then we go to there. Then we sort of wait for the puck to come to where it was going. And we're there. And so is the puck."

I love all the opinions and rants about the CEO's and innovation of all these other companies. Oh wait....
For a company that apparently no geeks on the internet even like, they sure to get talked about a lot.
