The removal of magsafe and making the charger take up the only USB port is the worst Apple decision since that slide-out USB drawer in the first MB Air.

This is fun to watch. I think they are doing a marvelous job at creating fashion. The Macbooks look great and I am sure there's a ton of teenagers out there dying for a new gold one - way to create new demand from somethign relatively boring.
Verge had an interesting article showcasing how they talked about the "style" of the Macbook, but chose to talk about the functionality of the watch (which basically just does what an iphone already does).
Watch is meh to me. Too large, too general, for me. The apps better be amazing as the competition isn't asleep at the wheel like they were when the first iphone came out.
Fun to see how the competition stacks up. Computers are getting fun again (personally I have a Surface on hte way and eyeing that Dell XPS line - no touchscreen on a new laptop is a deal breaker fro me).

Apple has activated Bluetooth without asking because they think i want a watch. And i now have an un-deletable app called Apple Watch to manage my future watch. Nice move, it makes me want a watch,

Quick question / advice please?
We were about to buy another laptop for our business - day to day stuff - nothing heavy like video editing but probably some photoshop / web / admin / browsing etc.
Was planning on getting Macbook Air top spec one.
Now looking at this new Macbook - is that the better choice?
A bit concerned about the 1 connector - we use serrato, I have a small Wacom, external drives etc... Its obviously the future but may be a bit too soon for us.
Its v.tricky making a decision now and planning on getting it this week.
Any thoughts?

You guys are really weird as designers. The beauty of the design and engineering on that new Macbook is breathtaking, yet, everybody complains. (I'm not talking specs or anything, just design)
