What's with the scrubber in the Music app on iPhone? It used to be so smooth and accurate a few iOS versions ago. It's so choppy now. The line doesn't move left and right smoothly anymore. It moves in steps. And dragging your finger lower to slow the scrubber for precision doesn't work half the time.
Why do they consistently let things get worse? It's like a programmer went into the code and fucked it up on purpose or something. Just leave it alone!!

Apple Has Plans for Your DNA
The iPhone could become a new tool in genetic studies.
- "says Gholson Lyon, a geneticist at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, who isn’t involved"monospaced
- "Apple isn’t going to directly collect or test DNA itself. That will be done by academic partners"monospaced

yurimon, a quote from another article that supports yours
"Although Apple has claimed that it will not have access to patients’ genetic data, the iPhone maker is very involved in the DNA data collection process. Apple has to approve the studies being conducted by medical researchers using ResearchKit. Even the gene-sequencing labs analyzing the “spit kits” have to have Apple’s stamp of approval."

Apple to make several iPhones and Macs ‘obsolete’ next month
A leaked Apple document has confirmed plans to make several iPhones and Macs “obsolete” or “vintage” in June. The iPhone 3G as well as older iMacs and MacBook Pros are among a list of devices that will no longer be supported by Apple.
The move will take affect on June 9, 2015, and it will apply to devices in Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe, Japan, Latin America, and the U.S., Apple says. These are the devices on the list, which was obtained by 9to5Mac, that will become “obsolete”:
AirPort Express Base Station
iMac (20-inch, Mid 2007)
iMac (24-inch, Mid 2007)
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.4/2.2GHz)
MacBook Pro (17-inch, 2.4GHz)
XServe (Late 2006)
XServe RAID (SFP, Late 2004)
iPhone 3G
iPhone 3G (China)
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 3GS (China)All four iPhone models — as well as the 17-inch MacBook Pro from Mid 2009 — will also become “vintage” in California and Turkey, which are markets where Apple is legally required to continue offering support.

- Not surprising, and not different from what they've done all along, to stop making parts for the oldest products.monospaced

Apple is finally fixing the reason your Mac and iPhone’s Wi-Fi sucks!
Noticed your iPhone and Mac’s Wi-Fi weren’t so good over the last year? You’re not alone, and Apple is finally fixing it, albeit quietly.
Wi-Fi problems were one of the biggest complaints about Apple’s Yosemite update for Mac last year, with thousands of users taking to Apple’s support forums to air frustration.
