When will apple have an iwatch with a curved glass? Oh wait, samsung already does.

    • the curve glass improves what function exactly?

    • No "normal" watch that I've ever owned has had a curved glass face. It's unnecessary and solves no user need.kona

    • Wow, you really got Apple there. Curved glass... woohoo!iCanHazQBN
    • A "normal" watch has cogs, which don't function well when curved. :prosem
    • I gotta say, I find that Samsung (*spit*) piece a lot more practical-looking than the iWatchdetritus

Anyone here demo the watch yet? How does it look/feel? I really like the mid level watch, with the link bracelet. Looks sharp. Too bad its a friggin grand smh.

I did. It looks "cool", but it's really thick, screen is super tiny. It's "fun" to scroll through things (the wheel was smart). Fit and finish are what you would expect from Apple (and I'd guess a huge up from Android's designs....just looked at the Fitbit watch, design is nice, but fit/finish is horrible).

So like most are saying, it's a toy now. Way too big/thick for anything I'd wear and the screen is too small for being useful (it really isn't easy touching it, just too small). 2-3 generations later, when they have one with GPS, good battery life, etc., I'll look again.

For now, I'd like the MS band if it were a nicer design (it has GPS, good battery life and only does what I want, which is fitness stuff, I could careless about notifications or "apps").

My 2 cents. I still think anyone that wears one will look like a tool (at best, a fanboy at worse).

The iPhone 6 Plus doesn't look as huge in person as it is portrayed to be on web sites and in photos.

How does the watch face turning on and off work? I know that it apparently turns on when you lift your arm, but say youre just sitting at your desk and want to look at the time, but just turn your wrist instead of lifting your arm, will it still turn on? Confused by how the face turning on/off work.

    • The reviews say that it kind of works, but fails for certain scenarios. It is also slow (2-3 seconds) to turn on.inv

Forget what I said up there ^

I went with the regular-sized 6. Stood in the store and really thought about it for a while before deciding. I think it's perfect. Similar to the screen size of the HTC One and not too small.
