QBN log 3.31.21
Things have been smelly here on the ship ever since Bones clogged the restroom with a turd the crew has cristened the "EVER GIVEN". The thing just wouldn't budge. Anywho, we were able to dislodge it using a phaser ray and peanut butter. The Borg has infected many of us on the ship while others have taken the vaccine. I was infected and I'm mostly feeling fine... hungry, but fine. I've been eating non-stop. The trim stomach I had been rocking all winter is now a bloated bulge. Luckily, spring is here and I am cutting out the pasta in favor of Garbanzos. I'll be in top shape by June.

Highlights this week included watching the silly but fun hevyweight matchup of Godzilla vs Kong. The audience got to witness see Kong do strange things like visit a subterranean world with anti-gravity and wield an axe. I really like Kong as a character. This movie made me realize it. I want to see more of Kong.
https://www.qbn.com/reply/401394… was a cool concoction. This piece is specifically why we are on this strange planet. I will watch it again after this log.
https://www.qbn.com/reply/401409… I got into a philosophical mindset when rationalizing the ethics of animal fornication vs animal consumption. As guardians of the living beings on this planet, and with plentiful alternatives, could we one day see the end of the hypocrysy of allowing the manufacture of animal holocaust as a way of alimentation while frowning upon the lesser evil of sexual experimentation with these life forms? Not that I want to know personally, but the laws against fornication with animals seems absurd when we kill and devour said animals. The taboo is an odd one from an ethical standpoint to say the least.
Finally, I wrote an absurd rant about not wanting the current epidemic to end. https://www.qbn.com/reply/401409…
Everything else has been status quo. We will soon be screening The Fly remake by Cronenberg, I hope to see that one. Until my next log, I remain Captain James T. Kirk, Captain of the USS enterprise and not an animal fornicator but a man of ethical reasoning. Godspeed.

QBN log 4.11.21
Things are going well. I've seemed to pass the BORG's effects and have become productive again so I've been working even though my day/night intervals are wonky. I'm working nights and sleeoping days until I start sleeping nights and working days. It's fine until I have an appointment at the bridge. Then I have to be sure to put the alarm on.
Highlights this week from planet QBN:
https://www.qbn.com/reply/401449… - Benny Hill meets 90's dystopian urban action
https://www.qbn.com/reply/401447… - The legendary Italian Spiderman. I love it.
https://www.qbn.com/reply/401456… - Lemmy comes back from the dead with a good PSA

QBN log 5.1.2021
Just came back from a quality run in the sports chamber. I hope my knees can maintain their structural integrity. This week on planet QBN I let curiosity get the best of me and tried interactions with the community. Let's just say it was mostly a waste of energy and not something I would recommend investment in. Enjoyment of QBN should be reserved for weird, off the wall media and the occasional stupid blurb. There are now a plethora of other paths to planets with intelligent communication to visit. This place is for the lulz. Now that the crew and I are vaccinated from the Borg it is time for us to take off into the unknown crevices of the ass we call cyberspace. We will return.
This has been James T Kirk.

Making a rendezvous through QBN to see what's new. For some reason I can't figure out, perhaps it was the constant battling with commentors, I am continuously interacting with the QBN community as a super-villain. Like a cross between Larry David, the dad from That 70s Show and as Garbage put it, a "Scooby Doo Villain" https://www.qbn.com/reply/401875… . It's a compulsion I should probably try to control but it feels great being a grumpy old man. I can't get enough. I mean, why be nice? People suck! Anywhoo, not everyone sucks but on this planet you need to have your anus in check. I've intellectually owed Garbage several times but he is persistent in his pursuit to one up me. I made a tribute post channeling Macho Man to honor his (or her, I have no idea) persistence. https://www.qbn.com/reply/401875…

Captains log...supplemental.
So, I smoked weed for the first time in a year yesterday. I must have outgrown it. We just laid around watching a stupid sitcom and the news on television. I had the feeling I was connected to everything around me, like a supreme conscioussness. I also felt this conscioussness was led by an alien entity who's sole purpose is to laugh at humanity in general and me specifically. Fucking psychedellics. Ironically, now that weed has been made legal by the federation, I really don't enjoy it anymore. I need all the energy I can get these days. Lounging is not a problem. The babe I hung out with was a dime piece but she was Polish and knew little English. This language barrier really affected our intimacy. I don't expect a second date. Gosh, she was hot. Poor thing. She must have a hard time communicating with a lot of Americans. I have no idea.
