http://www.runnerswo…******** - If you're not putting too much distance on them it could be fun. I started running in these:

Almost purchased this last week but I decided to read up on it. I think these'll be a nice running/workout shoe (especially since I naturally hit the mid part of my soles while running)
https://www.rei.com/product/8991…
+ they look & feel nice but should i just jump into a minimum (earthly feel as a newbie?)
- If you can, try a pair on first - NB's have a tendency to run large.face_melter
- Yeah, I'd try them on first. I've been rocking Nike fly knit lunar as I strike mid-foot as well. Solid shoe and you can usually get the previous year model forlvl_13
- About half price.lvl_13
- They seem to be only good for trail running, and with a minimal cushioning (none)dmay
- dmay yeah.... totally a trail shoebklyndroobeki

As much as I love how nike shoes look, they can sometimes causing pain in certain areas. Like around my knee.
I don't run anymore but I've done distance running my whole life, I found that the more cushion the worse it was for me.
So I started going for thinner sole shoes, but keep in mind that takes getting used to as well, you have to ese into it.
The last pair I got felt amazing, wish I had these years ago. Check em out. They feel great:
On Running-Cloud
- I had never heard of this company until you posted this yesterday. Today I took a walk at lunch and it looks like they're opening a Portland retail store.fooler
- Looks like they have an office here too, Watch out nike. hahaha.fooler
- Really? How come they shoe companies go there? Give the shoes a go, I went to a store where they let you run in them before u buy. (treadmill)sofakingback
- Other shoe companies like ON, Under Armor, Li-Ning come here to poach shoe designers from nike and adidas.fooler
- This brand is good. They some clean designs. Only thing is that they are not the best for heavy people.VectorMasked
- these looking pretty nice, I remember you wearing themMiguex
- I had them. The lash is shitty (see photo). Too thin. But some of their cloud shoes have better lashes. I don't even know if lash is the right English term.SimonFFM

adidas Boost is the most comfortable running shoe I've ever owned.
How adidas Boost Technology is Making the Brand Relevant Again
http://www.complex.com/sneakers/…- I own a pair of adistar boost and they feel great, lots of cushioning but very responsivedmay
- I've got a pair of the NMD's for daily wearing not running and love the bounce. Going to get a pair of ultraboost for running with. amazing feeling.microkorg
- I have em' (but in gray / green). Look great but not for serious runners. Comfy for about a month then all is lostfyoucher1
- are they better then asiacs?yurimon
- I haven't worn asiacs in years but these boosts are the cushioniest shoes I've ever worn. Best to try them on and compare yourself. Everyones foot is different.fooler
- nikes are usually to narrow for my fat feet.fooler
- I have a pair of asics kayano and pair of adidas adistar boost. The boosts are much more responsive, the asics feel more like a giant marshmallowdmay
- And the sole, if it's the Continental one, lasts for mles and milesdmay
- thanks this good to know. i'm prob going to try the Adidasyurimon
- These are amazing, been waiting on a new pair for almost a month. So hard to find these in stock.evil1

- there's all sorts of running shoe brands that i was totally unaware of. i live with people who have mizunos, on, brooks, saucony...********
- but then there's hoka and other crazy specialized brands...damn!********
- pearl izumi, etc...it's a fucking market. I also read that the double the price the double the injury probability...LOL!********

I've been trying different brands, mostly liking asics so far, but I've been through Nike, New Balance and currently wearing these Puma Ignite, which I like and with some kind of miracle, they don't look like the usual spiderman shoe. (with the exception of Nike, who makes the best looking running shoes out there)
So, this time is the first time I actually did the "test" based on foot weight and running profile and that shoe was one on the list (apparently recommending a running shoe based on personal experience is completely pointless because we are all different thing".
So, that being said, so far I dig em, but I would be down to try another one from my list next.
- If anyone is interested, you can do the fitting test here:
https://www.roadrunn…Miguex - This is looks/ brand independent, you will get a recommended list based on your info, of about 8 different running shoes. I would suggest going to a store...Miguex
- find any of those those and try them on before you buy. Or use a service like zappos that has free shipping/ free returnsMiguex
- I also rooted for Asics, see posts below. I actually ordered the Fujitrabuco but the deal fell out cause the shop did send me the shoes in the right time.********
- I really love those Fujitrabucos but in the meantime I thought why not buy something I believe more.********
- Recently I try to buy most stuff as ethical as possible if there's a decent alternative.********
- The most ethical stuff for running is going barefoot. The second option is re-using / re-cycling and stay away from buying anything new, specially onlineMiguex
- I'm typing this from a macbook pro that has battery and ram attached to the motherboard, so I can't really claim any sustainable behavior hahahaMiguex
- LOL!********
- I walk on a pair of a 7 year old running shoes and my jordans, the ones I play basket with are 10 years old.********
- but you're right ;)********

Down with Hokas and Altras lately. Depends on your style and pain level that day. Alternate from maximal to minimal. Wtf happened to Run QBN?
- Miguex0
- Kinda weird dude. With the latest nike+ update you were gone from my list. Thought you quit running. Do you see me?VectorMasked
- i can honestly say that the NRC app is one of the worst out there. Always updating/always fucking shit up without fail. or always fail.lvl_13
- and the latest update: stall out forever and it might actually start a workout...or it just quits...while i'm just sitting there waiting for the countdown.lvl_13
- although as far as design goes-the app looks top-notch :)
i think my username is levelthirteen.lvl_13 - I am under Patrick Smith in the app.evil1
- Why not Strava?duckseason

Main reason for me is that Nike+ encourages you to get out there and be a bit more social. AND... Our history and records with Nike+ go as back as 10 years.VectorMasked - This is a reason why i have not switched to other apps or to some garmin gps watch. It's just not the same and do lose on a few things.VectorMasked
- As some of you may already know... I'm under VectorM.
What's yours Micky?VectorMasked - I would love to join, but I use a GPS watch, and apparently I can't upload a .gpx file to NRC...dmay
- You can sync runs as long as you use Garmin or Tomtom.VectorMasked
- I have this one:

Go to a sports shop that checks your gait and style. Makes a huge difference.
I had a pair of Reeboks that fucked my feet up every time I went past 2K.
I went to a 'Run and become' and got 'tested'. Turns out I have an unusually heavy, toes first bounce. Super cushioned Asics were the answer. Can chew miles in them with no blisters at all.
- I did this (when Sports Authority existed), now it's impossible to find a selection anywhere. Brooks also work, but I just got tired of the atrocious designsformed
- and decided to try Nike againformed
- Those places just to sell you insoles you don't need. Let's test your feet, ooh look they're fucked, that'll be another $100.MrT
