- they are great and I actually do like the look of them. Had 2 pairs. Always felt like I was 10% faster with them than with any other previous shoe I ever tried.VectorMasked
- Did feel that the cushioning was not there rather quickly... like after 200 km.VectorMasked
- When they wear out maybe i'll replace them with the Adidas Tempo 8

How many have tried ON shoes? I was set on getting another pair of Nike's Vomero 13's (they have wide and extra wide, after over a 1.5 years mine still haven't stretched out width wise, so happy to see wider options).
I came across these while looking and they seem to get good reviews and look interesting (women's shoes get the nicer colors, of course).
- no ON for me thanks. everybody I know is not that happy with them. like 3 people or 4. they said good for road shit for trail.********
- Can’t get them in Portugal...dmay
- I've tried others (NB, Hoka, Asiics) but always go back to the Vomero's. They're the only ones that have enough cushion for me and work for my flat ass feet.fyoucher1
- My cushioned shoes of choice are the Adidas adistar (more than 1000k in my last pair)dmay
- @oey I only run on the road, so that's fine. Just wondering if it's worth trying. Can't do the horribly ugly every-other-running... again.formed

i have 4 pairs of http://hokaoneone.com
2 for road and 2 for trails. i don't think i'd run so much if it wasn't for the quality of these- I thought these were okay, not great, just felt too bulky and considering how they look like clown shoes, the cushioning just isn't as good as Nike Vomeros.fyoucher1

I recently started trail-ish running and I love the shoes I got. Altra Superior 3.5. The Lone Peak model just got updated and looks great too.

I've been delaying a purchase trail/obstacle run shoes. I only know of Merrell shoes for the extra grip and drainage. Does anyone know any alternatives in that category?

@Cotton. I'm a big fan of the Salomon speedcross for trail running and scrambling. The grip is great
https://www.salomon.com/au/produ…- Ahh, great. I decided I really need a pair because getting toes smashed from fine sand and gravel from river beds/mud is something I'd like to avoid...cotton
