Surely ANYTHING whatsoever published by the Christian Church is propaganda as it is all unproven fiction (lies?) on the pages of the Bible.
The dictionary meaning of the word ....
http://dictionary.reference.com/…- If unproven, how do you know for sure that it's fiction? I mean, your own predilections aside.gramme
- how many other people since have been able to change water to wine or part seas etc?23kon
- the closest would be Blaine/Copperfield/D... and they were all tricksters
23kon - what's your basis for thinking it is fact?23kon
- So your only proof is that you find the miracles hard to believe? I said your own predilections aside, please.gramme
- Well, there are archaeologically proven people and events throughout.gramme
- The miracles, however, I take only on faith, not because of what I have been told by people, but by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.gramme
- Why should I not be allowed to promote my own beliefs when the christians can freely express theirs?23kon
- Spirit.gramme
- You have every right to share your beliefs, I welcome it. I'm simply wondering where your ideas come from.gramme

Hunt around BoingBoing, they occasionally post old comics and pamphlets to that effect.

WTF!?!
Da Vinci Code - Fact or Fiction?
erm .........
I think the most important thing that Christians should be questioning is whether their beloved book is true/false/
The Bible - Fact of Fiction?
- and....here we go!harlequino
- come on!
you cant say they aint asking for it with leaflets like that!!!!23kon - Couldn't keep the gun in tha holster, couldja?
;)harlequino - support your naked assertion.
The evidence in favor of the Bible is overwhelming.teleos - no, no it isntspifflink

What do you need them for?

C'mon DaveO..admit it..you knew this would only lead to this...
- gramme0
Anyone who has spent much time researching the Bible knows that it is a mixture of of history (much has been proven archaeologically), poetry, prophecy and parable. There is no prose in the Bible per se, regardless of whether one believes it to be the inspired word of God.

Alternatively, It could be argued that the bible is based on propagated lies based on prior belief systems and tweaked slightly to fit in with one idealism to give the masses something to believe in and fear to be able to keep them under control and an excuse to "spread the word of god" by travelling the world and slaughtering nonbelievers.
- false. The idea that the Bible borrowed from prior belief systems doesn't hold up to scrutiny.designbot
- even if that part is wrong .... is the rest?23kon
- hahaha...TheBlueOne
- No. If it was designed to "keep them under control and fear" why was it responsible for overthrowing the Roman Empire? (which had control of the known world at the time)designbot
- Empire? (which had control of the known world at the time) Seems more like it did the opposite.designbot
- Christianity overthrew the Roman Empire? Defend THAT theory...wow..TheBlueOne
- They overthrew them to make sure it was Christianity that was the world religion .......23kon
- ... rather than all those roman gods23kon
- ... really its odds or sods, no?23kon
