^ yeah well done. I check this thread daily.
Although the main themes tend to be gearlust and what people have bought for making beats .... but not much actual beat-making being posted. ;)

Anyone get Bitwig yet?

so never really bought any rack modules in my time, samplers yes, effects yes but not sound modules. had my eye on some old classic modules for some time (orbit etc) and always wanted to get my hands on the rare as hen's teeth Roland M-DC1 and the vintage synth one too but they are always going for a king's ransom.
well look who scored last night yo! luv snagging deals on newly listed hunks o junk.

i have it in my head that i want to get a proper '92 midi setup going kinda independent of my other gear. so i can sit down and sequence that hardcore rave ragga jungle bizness.
to this end, i have an atari 1040st and am getting my hands on a proper dongled copy of notator sl in trade for my old alesis hr16 sometime this week... this guy has the right idea! luvin this:
and just this morning i searched and recovered my old mac classic with 4mb of ram and a 20 mb hd raging on os 7.5.5 (it booted!) and snagged a serial port to midi midiman of ebay yesterday for it... to run cubase 2 for screwing shits and ol skool giggles.
hardcore will never die.
- i have the MVS-1, used to use it for the melotron samples but actually a decent module. not being able to save patches is a pain.kingsteven

Macbeth Elements price drop! 1000GBP less that he initially posted. That's 3000 for the full system and 1500 for the Eurorack module.

So, I've been working on a tune today, still very rough but the general feel is there. Great to get a bit of feedback
